Idiot Proof Smothered Pork Chops

This recipe for smothered pork chops is so effortless. Literally my 5 year old could probably make this.

When I was in college I lived with my brother. When I would cook smothered pork chops with rice and gravy his friends would magically show up for dinner.
It is comfort food x 1000.

Here is how I make it.

Season your pork chops with Tony’s.
Brown both sides in olive oil.
Set aside on a plate.

Brown onions and garlic in the same pot. Add a splash of water and scrape the brown bits off the bottom (season with salt and pepper. )  Add pork chops back to the pot.

Then mix this magical stuff with water and add to the pot.

Bring to a low simmer, cover and cook for 45 minutes or until chops are tender (stirring occasionally).

Serve over rice.
