Garlic Scallion Butter

I truly love making compound butters.
You can clean out your herb garden and turn it into a compound butter, or you can make delicious sweet fruit butters for your biscuits. The options are endless.

I made this garlic scallion butter with ingredients from my garden and we put it on a delicious 24 oz. bone-in ribeye (coming soon for special order) from G&J Curbside. It was delectable.
This butter will be delicious on any cut of steak, on vegetables, potatoes, or bread.

Here we basted a bone in ribeye with the butter.

Or you can top a steak with the butter while it is “resting.”

Garlic Scallion Butter

1/2 stick salted butter (4tbsp)

1 clove garlic, grated or pressed

2 green onions (scallions), finely chopped

1 tsp parsley, finely chopped

pinch of kosher salt

Fresh cracked pepper

Mix well.

Can be frozen in a “log” wrapped in plastic wrap then foil.
