Slow Cooker General Tso Ribs

There is no store I love grocery shopping at more than Trader Joe’s. They have the most interesting items.

One of their most popular products is the Everything But The Bagel Seasoning.

It literally makes anything delicious!

Another great item that I recently purchased was the Trader Joe’s General Tsao Sauce.

A few nights ago, I decided to put them both on some ribs.

The result: easy Asian ribs!!!

Here is how I made them.

Here are the only 2 ingredients you will need.

Remove the membrane from the rack of baby back ribs. Pat dry with a paper towel. Season with the EBTB seasoning on both sides! You can also add a little Cajun seasoning.,

Cut in 3 pieces NOW so you can fit it in the slow cooker.

Baste some of the General Tsao sauce on each side.

I let sit overnight in the fridge but I think this part can be skipped if needed.

Spray a slow cooker with some nonstick cooking spray. Place the ribs meat side down spread out in the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 hours.

It will look like this.

Carefully remove the ribs from the crockpot onto a baking sheet.

Baste with more General Tsao sauce.

Place under a broiler for about 5 minutes.

Or until it looks like this.

The meat falls off the bone.

A new family favorite.
