The Juiciest Baked Turkey Breast

Why do we only eat turkey around the holidays? It’s delicious, healthy, cheap, and easy to cook.

I spotted some turkey breasts (bone-in) at the store and bought a pack. It came 2 in a pack and equaled out to about almost 5 pounds. I paid $7.00. How cheap is that? This is enough meat for a couple meals! I’ll probably make turkey pot pie with the leftovers.

Today I baked it and I’ll explain what I did and how I got it to be so juicy….hint, hint…Tony Chachere’s Injectables always saving the day!

Tony Chachere’s Creole Butter is amazing. Do you expect certain meat to turn out dry? It won’t with this stuff!

Inject your turkey breasts (bone in) with the butter. I used about 3/4 of the bottle. You want to inject in every area possible of the breast.

It should look like this.

Then season the meat with Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.

  • cook time may vary depending on how many pounds of meat you have.

Let the meat rest for about 10 minutes. This is another important role in having juicy meat.

It’s just so pretty.

Slice it up, ya’ll! Its perfect by itself, on a sandwich, or in a pot pie.
