Jalapeño Poppers

Jalapeño poppers, or “stuffed jalapeños,” make the perfect game day/party appetizer. I learned how to make this version of jalapeño poppers from my friend Logan when we were in dental hygiene school. The stuffing is so delicious and rich that the poppers don’t need to be wrapped in bacon.

Brown Jimmy Dean, drain the fat. Stir in cream cheese and parmesan.

Stuff the jalapeños that have been sliced in half and seeds and membrane removed.

Bake until golden brown and jalapeños are tender. Delish!

8oz. Cream cheese (room temperature)

1 cup Kraft grated parmesan

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Brown the Jimmy Dean, drain the fat.

Stir in the cream cheese until incorporated. Then add parmesan.

Stuff the jalapeños.

Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 40-45 minutes until jalapeños are tender and stuffing is golden brown. (Cook time may vary depending on size of jalapeños.)
